PlanetCloud is Planet IT’s private cloud datacenter, this allows us to offer to customers access to the benefits of the cloud without the limitations and security concerns of public cloud, and this we can offer a range of partial or fully hosted datacenter services all under one banner. PlanetCloud operates out of two datacenters in the UK, both of which are running to ISO 27001:2013 standard and implement physical security which is dedicated to protecting the running environment.
Both of our state-of-the-art datacenters can offer up to 10Gbps connectivity in and outbound and are located in geographically diverse locations allowing our customers to again access to zone based redundancy for back up and disaster recovery. Our datacenters feature dual power, dual power back up via large battery farms, dual connectivity via diverse routed connections, full rack cooling and fire protection.
We started PlanetCloud because we knew that the costs of implementing such a diverse and resilient infrastructure in most office locations was unachievable for most businesses, because of this we ensure that the PlanetCloud system is built to the highest standards and can provide resilient systems for all of our customers.
The locations of our datacenters are not publicly published to ensure that our customers have the protection of knowing that the security of their data and equipment is of the utmost importance.
